ピッツバーグ日本協会では、5/4(土)にピクニックを開催します！バーベキューや軽食のほか、端午の節句（子どもの日）にちなんだ企画も構想中です。会員やコミュニティの皆様の交流の場になればと思いますので、皆様お誘い合わせの上ぜひご参加くださいませ！

◆参加費◆ 会員＝無料、非会員＝Donationをお願いいたします（12歳以上＝$10, 4～11歳＝$5, 3歳以下＝なし）
※現在会員でない方も、これを機にご入会いただきましたら、年会費のみで参加費は無料になります（年会費：家族＄40、個人＄30、学生＄20）
◆内容◆ ※変更の可能性あり。開催日が近づきましたら、改めてお知らせいたします！
- 食べ物：バーベキュー、ホットドッグ、サラダ、おかず等。端午の節句にちなんで“つきたてのお餅で柏餅と草餅”も作る構想です！
- 飲み物：水、温かいお茶。
※その他の食べ物・飲み物・お酒をご希望の方は各自でお持ちください。
- 遊び道具：フリスビー・バトミントンラケット・シャボン玉・折り紙等を準備予定です。折り紙コーナーには大きな紙も準備して、こどもの日のかぶとづくりもできるようにする構想です。
- 公園内の施設もご自由にお楽しみください（プレイグラウンド 2か所、卓球台、チェス卓、バスケットコート、テニスコート、ビーチバレーコート等）。ボールなどの道具は各自でお持ちください。

- 当日の運営にご協力いただけるボランティアの方を募集します（肉を焼く、餅を丸める、等）。ご協力いただける方は、参加申込フォーム か メール（pittsburghjagp@gmail.com）で事務局までご連絡ください。

Dear Members and Community,
Japan Association of Greater Pittsburgh will be hosting a picnic on May 4th (Saturday)! Alongside barbecues and light refreshments, we are also planning activities inspired by Children’s Day, known as Kodomo no Hi in Japan. We hope this event serves as a platform for members and the community to come together and enjoy each other’s company. We warmly encourage you to join us for a day filled with fun!
Please kindly RSVP in advance if you plan to attend. Once we reach capacity, we will close registrations.

Even if you are not currently a member, joining now will waive the participation fee. (Membership Fee: Family $40, Individual $30, Student $20)
◆ Event Highlights ◆
Please note that activities are subject to change. We will provide updates closer to the event date!
Food: Barbecue, hot dogs, salads, side dishes, etc. We are also planning to make “Kashiwamochi” and “Kusamochi” to celebrate Children’s Day!
Beverages: Water, hot tea.
Feel free to bring your own food, beverages, or alcohol if desired.
Entertainment: We will have Frisbees, badminton rackets, soap bubbles, and origami available. In the origami corner, we will provide large paper for crafting “Kabuto”.
Feel free to enjoy the park facilities including playgrounds (2 areas), ping pong tables, chess tables, basketball courts, tennis courts, beach volleyball courts, etc. Please bring your own equipment such as balls.

We are seeking volunteers to assist with various tasks during the event (grilling meat, shaping mochi, etc.). If you would like to lend a hand, please contact the office via the RSVP form or email (pittsburghjagp@gmail.com).
[For Non-Members] Details regarding donation payments or membership fees will be communicated separately after registration.
